QIS surface temperature probe specifically designed for use where surface temperatures reach up to 1260°C and rough handling is routine, QIS’s Surface Probe uses large, heavy-duty tips that can penetrate surface slag to measure the true temperature of the surface. The surface to be measured must be electrically conductive. The thermocouple's lead wires are 16-gage stranded wire with high temperature insulation and stainless steel overbraiding for added protection.
